Show|Hide Key

For any worksheet, click Show|Hide Key in the Answers section of the main ribbon to display what the worksheet answer key will look like. Click Show|Hide Key again to hide the answers.

Answer Banks

Answer banks are not intended for marking worksheets. Answer banks are designed to allow student to self-check work; an answer bank is not the key for the exercise set.

Because you may not want to use an answer bank for every exercise set included on the worksheet (i.e. addition facts vs long division), the option to show the answer bank is part of the options for each exercise set. If you want to quickly hide all answer banks for a multi-topic, multi-page worksheet there is a option for this in Global Settings, the Show|Hide dialog.

Key Color

The key color can be selected for an individual exercise set (in the options pane for the set) or can be set globally for the entire document. To change the key color for the whole document:

  1. With a math document open, click Key Color in the Answers section of the ribbon.

  2. Use the color picker to select the preferred color. Click OK to close the dialog and apply the selected color. The selection will immediately take effect, changing the key color for all exercise sets in the document.

Answer Lines

Hide or customize the look of the answer lines for a math document.

Note

If this is the first time you are using the program, this customization will apply to all new exercise sets you add to a math document.

  1. With a math document open, click Answer Lines in the Answers section of the ribbon. The Answer Lines dialog will open.

  2. Visible - Uncheck this option to hide answers for the document.

  3. Color - Select the download arrow to open the color picker. Use the color picker to select the preferred color for the answer lines.

  4. Width - Type a new value in the field or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the value. Valid values: 0 to 10

  5. Style - Click the down arrow and select from three styles: Dot; Dash; Solid.

  6. Click OK to close the editor and update the math document.

Answer Blocks

An answer block can be added anywhere in a worksheet.

If all you want is just the answers when marking math questions, add an answer block to the end of your math document. Or add answer blocks throughout a multi-page document if you prefer having answer blocks set up after each unit of a math document.

With a math document open, click Answer Block in the Answers section of the ribbon. An answer block will be added to the worksheet document
