Add a design group

The Design Gallery provides a way to add a of multiple design elements and exercise sets as one group. This can save you time when creating math documents.
For example you may frequently add a puzzle to the end of your math documents customized with additional and a to highlight it. By saving this grouping of exercise set and design items as a design group, you can easily add the grouping anywhere in your document.
To a New Document

Open Math Resource Studio. Click New to start a new blank document.

At the top of the program window click the Home tab. On the Home tab ribbon locate Design Gallery in the Design section of the ribbon.

Click the down arrow for Design Gallery to display the design groups selection window.

The design groups selection window displays thumb nail pictures of both the Default Design Groups and (if you have created some). Click a thumb nail to select and add it to the blank document.
To an Existing Document
When adding a design group to a document that already has exercise sets and design items, the newly selected design group section will be placed after the section that contains the active set of questions or design elements.

With an existing document open and displayed in the program, click once on an exercise set question or design element on the page so it becomes the active object on the page (a light blue border appears around the set of questions or design element). The new design group section you select will appear after the section that contains that active object on the page.
